What are these?

Adventure Playground Attendant (Permanent, temporary, part-time and casual) (Scale 1B)

There is one part-time permanent and two part-time temporary vacancies but other permanent and temporary part-time posts may be filled from a reserve list. Casual positions are also available.

The immediate vacancies are as follows:

- 1 part-time permanent post for 10 hours per week (working weekends);
- 1 part-time temporary post (30 hours per week) until 30 September 2012, subject to review;
- 1 part-time temporary post (30 hours per week) until 31 August 2012, subject to review; and
- casual positions.

Belfast City Council also intends to create a reserve list of applicants from this recruitment campaign, in strict order of merit based on performance at interview, from which further vacancies will be filled when they become available. It is anticipated that this list will last for 18 months or until it is exhausted, whichever is the sooner. Posts which become vacant within this time may be offered to those on the reserve list, in order of merit, without further interview. These posts will be part-time on a permanent or temporary basis.


For permanent and temporary part-time posts: £12,312 - £13,189 per annum (£236.12 - £252.94 per week) plus weekend enhancement, where appropriate (pro-rata to hours worked)
For casual posts: £6.3816 per hour plus an additional 10.77% to compensate for untaken annual leave entitlement.
