Playing Pitches Strategy

As part of our Playing Pitches Strategy, Woodlands Playing Fields have undergone a £2.1m refurbishment project to improve the facilities provided at the site.

The site now boasts 3 full size GAA pitches, one of which is a 3G floodlit pitch and can be used for other sports such as soccer and rugby.

We have also upgraded the changing facilities, and replaced the old dressing rooms with a state of the art 8 room changing pavilion and improved the parking facilities and fencing at the site.

The GAA has invested £450,000 in this refurbishment project.
