As the first council to deliver Futsal, we provide the only facility in Northern Ireland equipped with specially-designed Futsal courts at Shankill Leisure Centre. Our work and investment continues to reap great results. Unlike traditional five-a-side indoor football, Futsal uses a smaller playing area and ball. It is a fun way to build technical ability and fitness levels.
Working in partnership with Irish Football Association (IFA), our Futsal leagues for juniors and women have increased participation in this sport and have become a popular annual event in the sports calendar.
