Guidelines for leisure centre photography

Camera We know that most people who take photographs in our leisure centres or other premises do not use their images for illegal or immoral purposes.

However, we realise that cameras and other image-capturing devices can be used to record images of an inappropriate nature. And, because technology now allows images to be uploaded immediately to the Internet, it's important to control the use of such devices so we can protect the personal security of all our users.

About our guidelines

We have produced guidelines which cover how cameras and other image-capturing devices are used in our centres.

The procedures are designed to protect all our users, especially children and other vulnerable groups. They support our commitment to the protection of children, which is shown in our Child Protection Policy

However, we need your co-operation to make sure the guidelines are effective.

Taking photographs

If you want to take photographs or record any images in our leisure centres, you must get permission from the centre manager.

You can contact them by calling or visiting centre reception areas.

If you are given permission to take photos, you will be given a photographer's pass. This is only valid for one day and must be visible at all times during your visit to the centre.
