Wedding rooms and hire rates

The beautiful surroundings of our Harberton, Hilsborowe, Montgomery and William Legge rooms make the ideal setting for couples wishing to hold their wedding service and/or reception at Malone House.

Our facilities are open for viewing from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday, and 12pm to 5pm on Sundays. If you want to see a particular room, you can make an appointment by calling us on 028 9068 1246 so we can check it is available for viewing.

Harberton	This south-facing room offers panaromic views over the surrounding parkland, while French windows lead to a flagstone patio area and manicured gardens. It is named after the Harberton family, who lived in Malone House from 1868 to 1920. Elaborate plasterwork, a beautiful marble fireplace and a wedgewood blue and white colour scheme help to make it a serene and elegant setting for your reception. Hilsborowe	Truly the room with a view, the windows of the Hilsborowe Room overlook the rolling meadows of Barnett Demesne. The room also takes its name from a fort which was built on the site of Malone House in the 17th century by Sir Moses Hill.	First floor	80	90

Hire rates

Our wedding room hire package, valid for ten hours, costs £850 (valid until 31 March 2013). If you prefer to hire any of our rooms for a shorter period of time, individual hire rates are available for all our rooms. A minimum of two hours applies for each room.

Special offers

We offer a discount of 20 per cent off room hire and 20 per cent off main banqueting meals for all wedding receptions booked Sundays to Thursdays (applies to weddings booked after 1 April 2011). Please note this offer does not apply on bank or public holidays (as defined by the council), Valentine's Day or during December.

Bookings

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of 50 per cent of the room hire, payable to Belfast City Council, and a £300 fee, payable to Castle Catering Ltd, is required. For more information, call 028 9068 1246.
