Betty Craig
Former Assistant Director at Belfast Festival at Queen's Heart of the city: Grand Opera House
"I feel the heart of Belfast is anywhere there is art and culture - the Ulster Hall, the Waterfront, the Opera House or the Odyssey.
"When the Opera House opened in 1980, one couldn't have imagined a 70,000 seater building like the Odyssey in this city. At a recent show, I saw all the young people milling about down there and I find it very exciting.
"Of course now I'm retired that's still my life, and I encourage my grandchildren by taking them to the theatre. So the heart of Belfast is no one place - it is its culture."
