Belfast Music Week 2012
Belfast Music Week took place from Sunday 4 to Sunday 11 November 2012 and brought 250 events to 70 venues across the city. Belfast Music Week is a celebration of local bands and venues, as well as the wider music industry and community. It features live music performances, workshops, seminars and networking events. It's a chance to see legends and breaking talent, and to appreciate the ongoing success stories and a musical city that continues to make us proud.
In 2011 Belfast Music Week attracted more than 33,000 people to the city and was named Best Event in the NI Tourism Awards.
Belfast City Council's Belfast Music Week 2012 was co-ordinated by the Oh Yeah music centre and supported by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Belfast Visitor and Convention Bureau, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Invest NI, Tourism Ireland and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure.
