Belfast Music Week with MTV
Belfast Music Week with MTV took place from 30 October - 6 November 2011 at 45 venues across the city.
A celebration of local bands and venues, as well as the wider music industry and community, it featured more than 170 live music performances, workshops, seminars and networking events.
It featured MTV Live at The Ulster Hall with Kasabian on Saturday 5 November, before finishing with MTV EMA 2011, which was held at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast City Hall and The Ulster Hall on Sunday 6 November.

This video features some of the events during Belfast Music Week including Stiff Little Fingers, the Northern Ireland Music Awards and the Alzheimer's Society Benefit Gig featuring The Undertones, Ash and The Divine Comedy. It also shows off Belfast's wonderful music venues including The Ulster Hall, The Limelight and the Oh Yeah Music Centre.MTV Music Week video
This video was created by MTV to highlight the fantastic music scene in Belfast. It features an interview with Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol as well as local bands such as Kowalski, Katie and the Carnival and The Wonder Villains.
