Euro 2012 matches to be shown on City Hall screen

Local football fans will be able to enjoy every kick of the England and Republic of Ireland games at Euro 2012 on the biggest television in Belfast.
Belfast City Council will be showing the following group stage games involving both nations on the Big Screen in the grounds of City Hall:
Sunday June 10 – Republic of Ireland v Croatia (kick-off 7.45pm)
Monday June 11 – France v England (kick-off 5pm)
Thursday June 14 – Spain v Republic of Ireland (7.45pm)
Friday June 15 – Sweden v England (7.45pm)
Monday June 18 – Italy v Republic of Ireland (7.45pm)
Tuesday June 19 – England v Ukraine (7.45pm)
No tickets are required, but admission is on a first-come-first-served basis. Fans are reminded that no alcohol will be sold or permitted on site. Food will not be sold on the site, but picnics are welcome. Other standard Belfast City Council terms and conditions will apply.
Should either or both countries progress beyond the group stage, all subsequent games also will be shown.
