London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

The London 2012 Olympics begin on 27 July 2012 and finish on 12 August 2012, with the Paralympic Games taking place from 29 August to 9 September 2012.

There is lots happening in Belfast, and across Northern Ireland, in the run-up to the games, as the UK prepares to host the world's biggest sporting event.

Carnival performers London 2012 Festival

The finale of the Cultural Olympiad, the London 2012 Festival, takes place from 21 June to 9 September 2012. The UK's biggest ever culture festival will feature art, music, theatre and film events, including many in Northern Ireland. Details will be announced in November 2011.
