Art in the Park
Since 1993, the Forest of Belfast has commissioned more than 30 public sculptures. The Art in the Park sculptures are found throughout Belfast, usually in parks, and are all built by local artists.
Most of the sculptures show our relationship with wildlife and encourage residents to visit our parks and think about ways in which we can re-use local timber.
Details of the sculptures are included in Carving a Future for Belfast - Sculpture Commissioned by the Forest of Belfast 1993-2006 by Dr Ben Simon.
