Belfast in Bloom
Belfast in Bloom encourages residents and businesses to use flowers creatively to brighten up their surroundings. Anyone can take part in the scheme, whether you're working as an individual or as part of a group - all you need is a garden, a window sill or a front door!
By taking part in our Belfast in Bloom campaign, you are also increasing the city's chances of being chosen for the Britain in Bloom competition so, whether it's cheering up forgotten flowerbeds, arranging a simple window box, or taking part in a larger regeneration project, everyone can do their bit.
There's lots of useful information about green gardening, including tips and advice for brightening up your outdoor areas, on the Direct Gov website
Traders and retailers can also take part in Belfast in Bloom by sponsoring hanging baskets and flower towers - this helps improve the city's appearance and attracts business for retailers.
