Eco Days
If your children love wildlife, our Eco Days programme is for them. The scheme, which takes place in Falls Park on the last Saturday of every month from 10am to 12pm, explores the park's environment and gives youngsters the chance to learn more about natural creatures and habitats.
They can:
- learn about birds and their habitats
- create boxes for birds, bats and invertebrates
- watch birds of prey displays
- create feeding stations for birds
- learn willow-weaving and other countryside skills
- take part in tree trails, minibeast hunts and orienteering sessions
- join in with biodiversity workshops
- enjoy arts and crafts demonstrations.
All children taking part must be accompanied by an adult.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear in case of rain. Some sections of the park may be muddy and uneven.
Spaces are limited - to book your place, call the park manager on 079 1754 3626.
