Park Events Small Grants Scheme

Our Park Events Small Grants Scheme provides funds for local people to organise activities in their local parks and open spaces.

In 2011, we funded 31 groups, helping them provide entertainment for more than 20,000 people. Activities included:

neighbourhood bird watches
woodland walks
celebratory events
orienteering outings
family fun days.

Grants of up to £2,250 are available for non-party political Belfast-based organisations, such as community, youth and church groups.

The closing date for applications for events in 2012 has now closed.
