Image: Man and woman lying on a park lawn Belfast has a wide variety of parks, sports pitches, playing fields, open spaces and playgrounds. It is also home to a diverse range of trees, wildlife and horticulture, as well as attractions like Belfast Zoo, Malone House and Belfast Castle.

You can view all park opening hours in this section. Please remember to keep your dog on a lead in all our parks. Dogs are also not allowed on our sports pitches or playing fields.

Changes to dog control

We are proposing two new dog control orders. The first order will mean that you can only be in control of a maximum of four dogs, at any one time, while out in public. The other order will exclude dogs from cemeteries, children’s playgrounds, playing fields and pitches. We want your views on these proposals.

Bridges Urban Sports Park provides facilities for skateboarding, in-line skating, Parkour and BMXing and admission is free!
