Entrance to the park is via Oldpark Road. If you are travelling by bus from Belfast city centre, take Metro no.12B or 80A.


Marrowbone Millennium Park, formerly known as Oldpark Playing Fields, was redeveloped in 2000 with funding from the Millennium Commission. It includes a children's playground and walking routes.

We have recently refurbished the children's playground within Marrowbone Millennium Park, as part of our £649,000 investment to upgrade and redesign ten of our playgrounds.

Opening hours

All our parks open at 7.30am daily. Closing times vary according to the time of year - check full opening hours for parks
