Musgrave Park


Flowers in Musgrave ParkMusgrave Park, located in south Belfast, opened to the public in 1924.

The park is named after Sir Henry Musgrave, who lived in nearby Drumglass House, and who donated the land used to build the park.

The park was awarded the Green Flag Award, which recognises the best open spaces in the UK, in 2010. It is one of only five parks in Northern Ireland to receive this award.

Features Park features include walks, horticultural displays and a bottle bank.
Sports facilities The park contains tennis courts, two bowling greens and Gaelic football, hurling and camogie pitches.

The bowling greens are open from 11am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (winter) and 11am to 9pm, Monday to Saturday (summer). The pitches are open from dusk to dawn.
