Spring Fair

The Spring Fair took place at Malone House and Barnett Demesne on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2013.

This was a free event for all the family.

Visitors had a chance to learn about the value of our parks and open spaces and the importance of protecting the environment and caring for local wildlife.

There were lots of displays, including:

• spring flower show with hundreds of prize blooms
• farm animals including chicks, rabbits and goats
• spiders, snakes, frogs, lizards and also birds of prey
• environmental information and activities
• plant and craft stalls.

Other entertainment included face painting, a climbing wall, maypole dancing, children’s workshops, street entertainers and much much more.
