Description

This project redesigned an area of waste ground into a shared space for residents and the public to enjoy. Young people engaged in design workshops with the artist and Groundwork NI landscaped the surrounding area. The resulting sculpture reminiscent of Belfast's shipbuilding heritage.

Artist Biography

David Dudgeon is experienced in fine arts, sculpture and furniture design and specialises in site specific work. He has developed manufacturing techniques together with construction and engineering knowledge. David Dudgeon Studios was established in 2006 as a fabrication facility for his artwork.
