Artist Biography

Niall Timmins was born in Belfast and studied at the Belfast College of Art from 1970-1974. He worked as a musician and artist in Cornwall for many years.

From 1989 until 1995 he was Resident Artist at the Ulster Wildlife Trust and from 1995 until 1997 was a master woodcarver with Nicholson Woodcarvings in Lisburn.

He has since returned to Cornwall where he is involved in folk and traditional music and works as an illustrator.
