Our public health officers carry out routine inspections of swimming pools and spa pools to check the quality of water.We also check the standard of mains tap water delivered to homes in Belfast.
We are not responsible for maintaining the quality of mains drinking water, water pipes and the supply of water to your home.

Drainage problems are also the responsibility of Northern Ireland Water.
If you live in a rented house and are having problems with water drainage, your landlord should fix the problem if the fault is on their property.
