One of Belfast's first peace walls has been given a makeover.

A series of ceramic panels have been added to the wall dividing Bryson Street and Madrid Street in east Belfast.

The project was completed by Tom Agnew, a Londonderry artist and ceramicist, who produced the series of eight panels along with local residents of all ages, from five to 75.

Members of the local Doyle Youth Club were also heavily involved in the project by contributing to three of the panels, which depict marine and beach images representing ‘the strand’.
