Bottle banks
We have 49 bottle banks across Belfast where you can recycle glass bottles and jars. There are also many privately-managed bottle banks at some supermarkets and public spaces.Overall, there are hundreds of places where you can recycle your glass!
Please remember that bottle banks are only for glass bottles and jars.
We can't recycle window glass, crockery or drinking glasses in these bins.
If you’re taking your glass to a bottle bank in a cardboard box or plastic bag, please take it home with you and reuse it. Do not leave litter at the bank.
You can also recycle glass using your kerbside recycling box if you have one, or at any of our recycling centres

The bottle banks at the Mary Peters Track have been temporarily moved from their old position to the upper car park while construction work takes place. The banks are now on the right hand side as you enter the car park from the Old Coach Road, off the Upper Malone Road.| Name of centre | Address |
