The Crumlin plan area is a stretch of road approximately 3.75km long, running from Carlisle Circus to Braehill Road. There are four main focus points along the route: Carlisle Circus, Lower Crumlin Road, Ardoyne Shops and Glenbank.Below are some of the featured projects on the Crumlin Road.

Commercial improvements – Crumlin Road
Comprehensive commercial improvements were undertaken at the focus areas of Lower Crumlin, Ardoyne and Glenbank. Work included new signage, lighting, shop fronts and external decoration works. A further scheme is underway at Carlisle Circus shops.Before

Ardoyne Roundabout – Crumlin Road
Following consultation with the local community, agreement was reached on a design proposal for the roundabout island. The project will see the removal of unsightly concrete blocks that currently occupy the site and the reconstruction of the island. This will include decorative granite units arranged in a circle to enclose soft landscaping including shrubbery and plants.Before
Clifton Park Avenue junction landscaping
Landscaping works were undertaken at derelict open space at a busy junction of Crumlin Road. This has greatly enhanced the visual amenity of this area. Complementary works were also undertaken at an adjacent site.Before
