A free fashion show and Mad Hatter's Tea Party at Belfast City Hall are just some of the events lined up for our first ever Belfast Independent Retail Week (BIRW) which runs 5-11 March 2012.

Celebrating the wonderful range and quality of our city's independent traders, the events aim to highlight quality neighbourhood shopping across Belfast.

More than 160 independent retailers have signed up to participate in the events, with stores offering shopping promotions, competitions and in-store events.
