Senior Games
Are you aged 50 or above?
Would you like to give Olympic sports a go?
We've teamed up with the Belfast Health Development Unit and Belfast Community Sports Development Network to host a series of free events for older people at our leisure centres, as part of our Active Communities programme.
The Senior Games project will offer a range of sports and activities in the run-up to London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As well as Olympic sports like archery, fencing, badminton, tennis and swimming, there will be climbing, cycling, boccia, squash, curling, table tennis, bowls, aqua aerobics, Zumba dance, aerobics, yoga and Tai Chi classes.
Participants in the programme can also get a free health check. Health checks are limited to 10 per event.
All events are free and lunch will be provided. Transport can also be arranged for larger groups.
