Xtra Time sports development conference 2011
Xtra Time, our fifth annual sports development conference, took place on Monday 7 November at the Holiday Inn, Belfast. Targeted at sports coaches and volunteers from clubs and organisations throughout Belfast, it was organised by BCSDN (Belfast Community Sports Development Network), on behalf of the council and the Active Belfast Consortium.
The keynote speaker was Watt Nicoll, a sports motivational expert, who related his experiences of working in football. Delegates also took part in workshops designed to inform and inspire their own coaching practices.
