It focused on research carried out by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on Belfast.
The research findings focused on Belfast's economic inclusion, our quality of life and our leadership and delivery arrangements. It also aimed to further engage Belfast's key organisations with responsibility for developing and building a more prosperous city.
For more than 40 years, the OECD has been at the forefront of monitoring economic trends, forecasting economic developments and researching social changes and patterns in trade, environment and technology.
The OECD has a wealth of experience in working with governments from around the world in order to:
- support sustainable economic growth
- boost employment
- raise living standards
- maintain financial stability
- assist economic development.
