| Sunday 28 February | Holi Festival of Colour | St George's Market will host Holi, the traditional Indian Festival of Colours, on 28 February between 1pm - 6pm.
This unique and vibrant festival celebrates the coming of spring. Witness St George's Market come alive with literal explosions of colour and join in the festivities by throwing colourful powders (gulaal). Taste special Indian delicacies, watch Bollywood dancers and try your Bhangra dancing with their professional Indian DJ! Entrance is free. | Saturday 13 and 20 March | St Patrick's Day celebrations | On the Saturday on either side of St Patrick’s Day, St George’s Market will be transformed into St Patrick’s Market. On 13 March there will be traditional music with Toss the Feathers on Uilleann pipes and flute, while on 20 March there will be dancing by the Royal Tara Irish Dancers, traditional music from Cap In Your Hand and a chance to decorate your own leprechaun. | |
