Our fourth and final Stitch and Style event took place in St George's Market on Saturday 6 March.Green Awards winner
Stitch and Style was named Best Green Event at the Green Awards in London on 18 November 2009.The award recognises our work in raising awareness of textile waste by encouraging people to revamp their wardrobes and customise their old clothes.
We were also praised for our ‘waste-free’ methods of publicising the event, particularly through online publicity and our use of social networking sites like Facebook.
