Education
Our community awareness team offers free interactive anti-litter visits, activities and resources to schools and community organisations in Belfast. We want to help your school to reach its environmental goals. That's why we offer lots of anti-litter activities and competitions for schools to get involved in. These fun, interactive sessions focus on the Northern Ireland curriculum and are tailored to meet your group's needs.
We tailor all education sessions to suit any age or group. You can choose from the following education packages.
Primary School anti-litter education pack
Primary schools who take part in one of our free anti-litter workshops will receive an anti-litter education pack.
This teaching resource contains lesson plans, syllabus links, printable resources and information to be used alongside our interactive CD.
The pack aims to raise the issue of litter and our environment, and encourage positive behaviour with our primary school age children (Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2).
To launch our packs, we are giving away free litter bins for your school playground. The first 40 schools who sign up for one of our new interactive workshops will receive one of our Captain Cleanup bins.
