Guidelines for event organisers

Are you an event organiser or community group organising an event in the city?

To help you manage litter and waste at your event, we've compiled a booklet called 'Managing litter and waste - guidelines for event organisers'.

This booklet is designed to provide event organisers, big or small, commercial or community wide, with advice on litter and waste management.

As an event organiser we want you to take greater responsibility for reducing litter and non-recyclable waste at your events and we want visitors and spectators to enjoy the event in a safe and litter-free environment.

The booklet gives you helpful advice on how to control your litter before,during and after an event and how we can help you with the cleanup operation. Alternatively, you can request a copy of the booklet by post, by emailing antilitter@belfastcity.gov.uk or by calling 028 9050 0501.
