Belfast is a city of festivals, staging the equivalent of at least one festival for every week in the year. Festivals are part of Belfast's cultural life blood and provide substantial social and economic benefits for our city.
Major festivals attract visitors from all over the world, while the many community festivals celebrate and boost local communities, encouraging social interaction, cross-community participation and shared enjoyment.
If you would like your festival details included in our festival calendar please contact us.
The Belfast Festivals Forum is a proactive and voluntary collective of festival organisers and agencies that work together to build on the existing strengths of our festivals.
The forum is developing a coordinated approach to the planning, programming, promotion and management of festival across Belfast by sharing and presenting ideas, skills training, marketing incentives and grants, and coordinating a festival events calendar.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Belfast Festivals Forum or simply would like to be kept informed, please contact us.
