Public toilets in Belfast

  • Access to public toilets

    We operate and maintain public toilets in:

    • central Belfast
    • east Belfast
    • north Belfast
    • south Belfast

    RADAR keys

    Disabled access is available at all our public toilets. Belfast residents with a disability can also apply for a RADAR key to access our automatic toilets 24 hours a day, and access to our other toilets during opening hours.

    Changing Places

    We are drafting a Changing Places Toilets Policy. Changing Places are specialised toilet facilities which make public places and spaces accessible and inclusive to children and adults with complex needs or mobility issues. 

    The Changing Places facility in Belfast City Hall is available to the public. For access, you should ask at reception in City Hall.

    Automatic public toilets

    It costs £0.20 to use one of our automatic public convenience toilets. You can pay in cash or with a contactless credit or debit card.

    We close these toilets at times every day to allow cleaning.

    We close these toilets temporarily every day to allow cleaning.
