An illustrated lecture on Charles Dickens’ three visits to Belfast in the 1860s, including his appearances at The Ulster Hall in 1867 and 1869 when he read from A Christmas Carol, David Copperfield and other texts.

Dr Leon Litvack is a reader in Victorian Studies at Queen’s University and author of The Complete Critical Guide to Charles Dickens.
