Exhibition launch: Thu 7 June, 6.30pm.
This exhibition of drawings connects to histories of European comic and book
illustration, particularly post-war British publishing from DC Thompson through to Viz and the Ligne Claire method of Hergé, amongst others. The drawings also reflect political propaganda illustration and the genre’s mobilisation for ideological purposes by both state and artist.
Please note that as The Ulster Hall exhibition space is in a working building there may be times when the gallery is closed to the public. If you are visiting us specifically to view the art work we would recommend that you call in advance to check opening hours. Tel: 028 9033 4400
