Orbital return to Belfast to play live in the city for the first time in over 20 years, courtesy of Belfast Music Week 2012.

The acclaimed duo are supported by a lineup of cutting edge Northern Irish electronic music producers at this special event celebrating 25 years of dance music in Belfast.

A free programme of electronic music workshops, interviews and legacy events will take place during the afternoon.

Legendary electronic duo Orbital consists of brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll. Their 9th, and most recent LP, entitled "Wonky", was released earlier this year, and was met with both critical acclaim and commercial success - it represents the band`s highest charting album in 10 years. Their renowned live show is as ambitious as it is progressive.

Phil Kieran and Space Dimension Controller will open proceedings in the Grand Hall while the Group Space will feature live performances from hugely promising upcoming local producers MMoths, Ryan Vail, Kab Driver and Defcon.

The ‘25’ project has been organised in association with the Red Bull Music Academy and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. Belfast Music Week is co-ordinated by the Oh Yeah Music Centre and supported by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Belfast Visitor and Convention Bureau, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Tourism Ireland.

Belfast Music Week runs from November 4–11, hosting more than 200 events encompassing many genres of music across the city.

This event is strictly for over 21s only.
