How to get to the hall

You can reach us by car, bus, train, taxi, boat, plane, or on foot.

By car

We are located on Bedford Street, in the heart of the city centre, immediately behind Belfast City Hall. If you are travelling on a major road into the city, follow signs for the city centre. From the one way system on May Street, behind the City Hall, turn left into Bedford Street.

On-street metered parking is available both in front of the Ulster Hall on Bedford Street, to the rear in Linenhall Street and in the surrounding streets.

By bus

The nearest bus station is the Europa Bus Centre which is approximately five minutes walk from the Ulster Hall.

There is a metro city bus stop on Bedford Street, directly opposite the hall. And an Ulsterbus stop to the rear, in Linenhall Street.

By train

The nearest train station is Central Station, which is in East Bridge Street, around five minutes walk from the hall.

There is a regular train service to Dublin and the average journey time is around two hours.

By plane

Belfast is served by two airports and is within easy reach of national and international destinations.

George Best Belfast City Airport is located three miles from the Ulster Hall.

A regular bus service runs to and from the city centre from both airports and terminates at The Europa Bus Centre, five minutes from the venue.

The journey time by car is around five minutes from George Best Belfast City Airport and 45 minutes from Belfast International Airport

By boat

Belfast is well served by ferries and we are located near the main port.

Stena Line and P&O Irish Sea Ferries operate daily services from the UK to Northern Ireland.

On foot

The Ulster Hall is located behind the City Hall, in Bedford Street. We are two minutes walk from the city centre.
