Environmental Youth Speak 2012
The annual Environmental Youth Speak competition gives school pupils the chance to have their say about environmental issues, and compete against their peers at council, regional and Northern Ireland level. This year's winners of the Belfast heats of Environmental Youth Speak were Melanie Green from Harberton School and Luke Rooney from St Malachy's College. Both pupils went on to compete at the regional finals in Mossley Mill, Newtownabbey on 26 April. Congratulations to both pupils for making it to the finals stage!
The competition is sponsored by the DOE’s Rethink Waste campaign. For more information about Environmental Youth Speak and a video clip of last year’s final, visit the Rethink waste website
