World Trade Centre Belfast
We are the license holder for World Trade Centre (WTC) Belfast. This is a regional license covering Northern Ireland.
Through World Trade Centre activity we will:
- support local companies to trade internationally by utilising the WTC global network
- promote Belfast as an ideal inward investment location and provide an Investor Gateway service to investors
- establish a World Trade Centre in Belfast.
Support local companies to trade internationally
By establishing relationships with other WTCs, enhanced international trade opportunities will be available to local companies.Local companies, who become members of WTC Belfast, will be able to access market intelligence information, take advantage of business matchmaking opportunities, receive up-to-date international trade news and be able to attend export seminars, workshops and networking events.
Attract inward investment to Belfast
Through WTC Belfast, potential inward investors will be able to access information and support through the Investor Gateway service.There are three main areas of the service.
Information on Belfast
This includes information such as economic and demographic profiles of the city. Belfast publications can be sent to investors such as the Belfast Investment Prospectus and Invest in Belfast booklet.
Inward visits
Fact finding visits to Belfast can be organised through the Investor Gateway service. Presentations can be made to visitors as well as city tours and key introductions.
Property search
Potential investors can obtain information on land and office space availability through the Investor Gateway service.
World Trade Centre Belfast building
We will establish a WTC. This building will accommodate WTC activity and provide office accommodation to companies.A WTC Belfast building will demonstrate our commitment to support local companies trade internationally. It will also communicate to the international business community that Belfast is an ideal place to visit, do business and invest.
