Art exhibition
Date: 17 - 31 OctoberThe School of Art and Design, the founding school of the University of Ulster, marks its 160th anniversary this year. This exhibition highlights work across a range of disciplines including textile art, silversmithing and jewellery and ceramics drawn from the university’s art collection.
'My Roots' - Tracing your Belfast ancestors
Date: 28 October, 7pmDr William Roulston of the Ulster Historical Foundation will give a practical guide to tracing your ancestors and Dr Eamon Phoenix will speak on the history of Friar's Bush graveyard. There will be music from local artist Anthony Toner and readings from the author Glenn Patterson, who will discuss researching his own family history.
