Council and young people

Around a third of the city's population is aged 25 or under so we want to make sure we provide the services you need.

We also want to listen to your views and act upon them where we can.

That's why we have set up a Youth Forum where young people can get involved in making policies which are relevant to them.

We're also working to increase facilities for children and teenagers and help projects which work with young people.

We continue to support opportunities for youngsters, like the popular Urban Arts Academy at Belfast Waterfront.

Finally, we're committed to improving play facilities for children and exploring new venues for young people in Belfast.
