Due to operational issues we’ve had to take the decision to temporarily suspend our glass recycling collection service.
This affects households that have a purple or black glass recycling box.
It does not affect:
We appreciate this is a huge inconvenience and we’re really sorry for this disruption to our service.
We will review our operations in four weeks and will keep residents informed through our website and social media channels.
During the suspension you can take glass recyclables to your nearest bottle bank, or if you have access to transport you can dispose of glass at your nearest recycling centre. We appreciate this will not be possible for everyone.
