Childcare Employment Academy

The Childcare Employment Academy is a new training programme designed in partnership with the Daycare Forum and Early Years to help them recruit up to 15 childcare workers.

What’s involved?

Before applying for the Childcare Employment Academy, you will be offered the opportunity to talk to childcare employers about what the job entails and the terms and conditions of employment .

After applying and securing employment, participants will take part in the Childcare Learning & Development training at Level 2 or 3, to give them the skills and qualification needed for a career in childcare.

Training and qualifications within the Childcare Employment Academy are open to anyone living in the Belfast City Council area currently out of work or working less than 16 hours a week. This includes people who are on a current European Social Funded programme.

How to apply

This Employment Academy is not recruiting at present, but we plan to run others later in the year. If you would like to be informed when we’re recruiting for the next academy, please fill in our registration form. Alternatively, you may be interested in applying for another Employment Academy.
