FinTech: Access to Support and Finance programme

About the programme

We are committed to supporting the development and growth of the local FinTech sector. Over the next six months, we are working with local company, Xpand, whose ‘Access to Support and Finance’ programme is designed to make it easier for you to share your views and details. This will help us to shape new programmes of support that can have the greatest impact on your business and growth ambitions.

Xpand created an app, ‘XpandAccess® App’ to house information of current funding opportunities offered across Northern Ireland and the wider UK, suitable for your business. As a bonus, when you sign up to this app, you will have access to all this information for free, which will be shaped to the needs of your company and where you are on your growth journey.

How can this app help my business?

There are currently more than 1,300 finance and support options listed within the app. This support includes funding, advice, events, webinars and more. These resources are growing on a daily basis, as new support is launched.

As well as full access to the app and services provided, your business will receive a weekly summary email of upcoming support and events.

New and exciting upcoming functionality includes:

• Goods and Services Analysis - receive reports to identify sales opportunities for your products and services (across the UK);
• Business Reports - receive regular information and data relevant to your business, competitor analysis, market sizing, support and events;
• Finance and Fundraising Reports - identify suitable funding sources for your projects across the UK. Understand the costs, time involved and eligibility criteria for different fundraising methods; and
• Quick signup - test new faster funding application processes as they are released through the platform.
