    We deliver free support to Belfast-based businesses including one-to-one mentoring and workshops in a range of areas to help you address challenges, become more resilient and grow your business.

  • Green Tourism Award

    The Green Tourism Award is a world-wide sustainable certification programme. Belfast-based tourism and hospitality businesses can apply for gold, silver or bronze accreditation for their efforts to meet best practice standards in sustainability.

    We’ll reimburse the first year fees for eligible businesses that apply for a Green Tourism standard. Your business will also be eligible for discounted rates in years two and three. To get the fee funded in year one, you need to apply before 30 June 2022.

  • Assessing your needs

    Complete a short questionnaire about your business support needs. Our team will assess your information and be in touch within three working days to outline the support available to you. 

  • Rural Business Development Grant Scheme

    This grant scheme is now open for applications.


    Capital grants up to a maximum of 50 per cent grant rate, are available to existing micro enterprises based in rural areas to support them to recover, sustain or grow through DAERA’s Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) Programme.  

    Grant aid for the purchase of capital items is available for the range in value of £500 to £4,999 for projects costing up to £20,000.

    Items include computer equipment, e-commerce websites and new equipment or machinery.


    Rural areas are those with less than 5,000 residents and outside of designated urban areas. If you are unsure if your business location is eligible please ask for further details by email at  or call 028 9244 7447.

    How to apply

    It is mandatory to attend a pre-application workshop in which guidance will be given regarding making an application to this scheme.  To register your interest in the scheme, receive your application pack or enrol for a funding workshop, email or call 028 9244 7447.

    Applications will close at 12 noon on 31 May 2022.
