Cave Hill Adventurous Playground

The playground has been revamped and there is plenty of new equipment to keep the kids entertained.

Cave Hill Adventurous Playground is located in the grounds of Belfast Castle Estate opposite Gray's Lane on the main Antrim Road.

It is suitable for children aged three to 14 and includes cradle swings, slides, spring rockers, a sand play unit and a bicycle roundabout.

For older children, there's a spectacular space net and aerial runway.

The playground has been ranked at number six in The Independent's 10 best adventure playgrounds

October	Closed	11am to 4.30pm
November and December	Closed	11am to 3.30pm Closed on Christmas Day but open as normal throughout the rest of the Christmas and New Year period.

Prices

Valid from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014:

single admission - £2.40
season ticket - £43 (40 visits per year)

Groups are advised to book in advance, especially in July and August when the playground is busy. However, there are no concessions for groups.

Rules of use

The following rules apply to the playground:

children must be accompanied by an adult(s) at all times
adults bringing children to the playground must supervise them
last admission is 30 minutes before closing time
no dogs allowed.
