Our wedding packages

Applicable from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025

At Belfast Castle we offer a ten-hour block booking for weddings, from 3pm to 1am. The room hire cost is £1,020 (valid until 31 March 2025). 

The ten-hour block booking for weddings includes the following:

• use of entire Ground Floor of Castle, which includes: 
  • use of Donegall Room for your marriage service and ceremony and arrival drinks and evening reception
  • use of the Chichester Room from 3pm to 1am for your wedding reception
  • use of the Deerpark Room from 3pm to 1am
  • use of our bridal changing room from 3pm to 1am for refreshing throughout the day
  • use of landscaped gardens for wedding photography
• red carpet on arrival
• matching menu and place cards
• personalised table plan
• cake stand (options available)
• public address system for speeches and toasts only.

We have smaller rooms available. If you want to hire one of our rooms for a lesser period, our Front of House team will be happy to advise hourly rates.

Any flowers or other decorations should be hired in through your own desired company.

Sunday to Thursday weddings

Weddings booked on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday are eligible for a 20 per cent discount on room hire only (excluding package deals).

Friday and Saturday weddings

Weddings booked on Fridays and Saturdays must have a minimum number of 80 guests. The earliest start time for a wedding on a Friday and Saturday is 3pm.

Wedding service or ceremony only at Belfast Castle

If you wish to view our facilities, let us know dates when you are available and we can arrange a mutual appointment.

If you are having your wedding service or ceremony only in Belfast castle, the service must take place at 12 noon. Rooms licenced for a wedding service or ceremony are:

• Donegall Room
• Ashley Room
• Fisherwick Room

In-house hospitality and catering packages

At Belfast Castle, we have an in-house hospitality and catering service provider. CRG Catering (the team behind Crumlin Road Gaol (link opens in new window)) will look after you and your guests to make ensure your day at the castle is perfect.

Their staff will give advice on various aspects of your wedding day, including choice of menus, room styles, wines, flowers and chair covers. Their catering team can personalise the menu to suit your tastes.
