Financing the plan

Our corporate plan is based on a planned investment of £268.12million for 2025-2026. This includes a projection of £212.98million from the district rate, £24.84million from fees and charges, £15.13million from grant funding and £15.17million from other sources.

Where we get our money from

  • district rate £212.98million (from householders and businesses)
  • fees and charges £24.84million (money received for services like waste disposal and building control)
  • grants £15.13million (for example from Europe and central government)
  • other £15.17million (for example rents and licences)

Total planned income for 2025-2026 is £268.12million.

  • Strategic Policy and Resources Committee: £76.26million
  • People and Communities Committee: £126.80million
  • City Growth and Regeneration Committee: £30.32million
  • Capital financing: £25.27 million
