Belfast Stories is intended to benefit the Belfast city region and have a positive impact across the area, including on rural and urban stakeholders.

Provision of parking, drop-off points and connections to public transport were concerns raised by consultees from across Belfast. Belfast City Council continues to work with statutory partners including Translink and the Department for Infrastructure, and travel and transport will continue to be considered in later RIBA stages. This is likely to benefit residents in both urban and rural areas.

We are not aware of further local circumstances which will result in a different outcome at this stage.

During the public consultation, engagement opportunities will take place online and in-person at various locations across the city to enable people in rural areas participate. This will enable any issues that are relevant to people in rural areas to be identified and shape the onward development of Belfast Stories.
